After hundreds of positive reviews from our previous UCAT crash course, BTMA proudly presents our 2nd free online event: a Personal statement/Applying strategically to universities crash course.
We taught students how to write their best personal statement using real life examples from successful applicants as well as explaining how to apply strategically using their exam results.
Also at our event our fantastic BTMA university representatives from different universities were present to answer all your questions.
UCAT Webinar
BTMA proudly presented our first free online event of 2022/23: a two-day UCAT webinar. This event was a huge success with our £5 UCAT bundle being sold for charity. This bundle included top tips from our education directors, slides and recordings of the proceedings.
Student Mental Health in the British Tamil Community Talk with Dr Anton
Dr Juliet Anton, a highly qualified Counselling Psychologist (HCPC) who has generously given up her time to host an online talk about ‘Student Mental Health in the British Tamil Community’.

Essay Competition
Title: Discuss the different innovations in healthcare that arose during the COVID-19 pandemic
For Sixth Form students (Yr12 and Y13)
Winner will have their essay published on our website
Criteria:
a) Discuss maximum 3 innovations.
b) Evaluate the benefits and drawbacks of the innovations that you mention and its future use in healthcare
c) Word limit is 1000 words (excluding references)
d) No images allowed
e) Maximum 10 references
Submission:
Email in document format to britishtamilma@gmail.com with the subject ‘Essay Competition 2021’ and your full name and year of study
Deadline: Monday 27th September 2021 at 6pm

UCAT Crash Course
BTMA proudly presented our first free online event: a two-day UCAT webinar. This first event was a huge success attracting over 170 aspiring medical students across the whole of the United Kingdom.
In addition over £600 was raised in donations through the sale of our £5 UCAT bundle for charity. This bundle included top tips from our education directors and recordings of the proceedings.
